Gabourey Sidibe in Marchesa.
Like fellow co-stars, Mo'Nique and Paula Patton, Gabourey Sidibe also wore a vibrant color on the red carpet. Gabourey looks stunning in a cobalt blue Marchesa gown. I love the pleated detail on this dress, and apparently so did Gabourey. She described her dress as::
"If fashion was porn this dress is the money shot! And you know it!"After she said that, she immediately begin striking poses, it was adorable and hilarious! Watching her on the red carpet was so refreshing, she was beaming with confidence!!! She described that the Oscar's was like prom for Hollywood and stated that she was very humbled to be there:
"I'm a normal person in a fantasy world. I don't believe my life."How incredible that you go from being virtually unknown *of course you're known to your family and friends*, to an Academy Award nominated actress based off your very first performance in your very first film. IN-CRED-IBLE. Good thing she skipped class that day to go on the audition! This movie changed her life! What a wild dream come true!
